Adam Gecht — Fitness Club Leadership and Development Experience

An award-winning senior project manager and sales director in White Plains, New York, Adam Gecht spent the past 18 years in various leadership roles at Equinox, a global luxury fitness business with more than 100 locations in the United States. In his most recent role with the company, Adam Gecht focused on Middle East expansion as director of international operations. This involved extensive research of regional regulations and employment laws and the creation of new standards of practice.

Before this, Mr. Gecht spent 11 years as a regional director with the company and was tasked with ensuring the efficient operations of eight clubs throughout the Northeast US. Among other accomplishments, he established the company’s Meet A Member soft-sell program and developed its first luxury boutique, E by Equinox. He also earned the Club of the Year Award for exceeding revenue goals.

Adam Gecht spent his first five years with the company as area manager and received the Corporate Club of the Year and Urban Club of the Year awards. He began his career as regional sales manager at Healthtrax, prior to which he obtained a bachelor’s degree in exercise science and sports medicine from the University of Rhode Island.
